3 hours Workshop

Create your Ceramic Planter

Teacher Evan Powell

Create your Ceramic Planter: a 3-hour class session

  • Celebrate the nature and give yourself the opportunity to create your ceramic planter for the special green corner of your home;
  • It is known that the neighborhood of plants in the home is very beneficial for our health, the same happens with ceramics: the direct contact of our hands with the clay is relaxing, enriching and therapeutic;
  • Design your ceramic planter with traditional or modern lines, either with geometric angles or organic shapes, there are no limits in clay and creativity!
  • Like the people themselves, each piece will be unique and reflect your style and personality.

We will start thinking about the shape we want to give to our planter and we will draw a sketch of it. Then we will help you to choose the best technique to build it and we will give you small demonstrations of how to use that technique.

Once your planter is built we will start thinking about the final touches, you will give it textures and color it with engobes where necessary.

At the end of the course you will leave your planter to dry in the studio. We will fire it for you and we will give you a note when it’s ready so you can come and pick it up and make it part of your home.

We are very proud of our students creations. Visit our Instagram and Facebook pages to see what they’re up to!
